Holiday & weather schedule.

When your pickup day shifts, and where to look for real-time updates.

When severe weather hits.

Hurricanes, ice, and flooded routes can keep trucks off the road. When that happens, we come back out as soon as it's safe, usually later that same week. Facebook is the fastest place to see updates in real time.

Common questions

What happens if my pickup day falls on a holiday?
Your pickup moves to the next day. If the holiday is earlier in the week, pickups for the rest of the week push one day later. Friday customers will see service on Saturday.
Why are there so many closure days?
We dispose at local landfills, and most of them close on federal holidays plus a handful of state observances. When the landfill is closed, we don't have anywhere to take your trash, so we take that day off too and make it up later in the week.
What about bad weather?
If a hurricane, ice event, or flooded road keeps our trucks off your street, we come back out as soon as it's safe, usually later that same week. Watch our Facebook page for real-time updates when weather hits.
How will I know if my pickup day changes?
Check our Facebook page first. We post ahead of every holiday and during weather events. If you're still not sure, give us a call.
Do I need to do anything different on a shifted pickup day?
Nope. Just have your bin at the curb the night before your new pickup day. Same rules as a regular week.
